Gente de Zona’s “Cubatón” arrives at El Camaleón

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, April 30, 2026.– Latin and urban rhythms are set to take over the LPGA Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba this Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Mayakoba becomes the place where everything happens: world-class golf, festival vibes, cool crowds, live music, and an energy that can’t be explained—you have to experience it.

Gente de Zona—formed by Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcolm—will take the stage ready to get the crowd dancing, delivering their biggest hits, including La Gozadera, the global anthem that defined their international success.

As part of the experiences curated by GS Sports Management to offer more than just a sporting event, the duo will perform a live concert during the LPGA tournament held at El Camaleón.

Gente de Zona blends salsa and reggaetón with elements of traditional Cuban music—known as “cubatón”—creating a distinctive sound that has captivated audiences worldwide.

The duo has collaborated with major stars such as Enrique Iglesias on the hit Bailando, and with Marc Anthony on Traidora, both of which achieved global success. They also became the first act to sign with Marc Anthony’s company, Magnus Media.

On stage, the duo delivers a high-energy show backed by a band of outstanding Cuban musicians and dynamic choreography that consistently wins over audiences.

Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcolm arrive in the Riviera Maya ready to turn the night into a celebration, bringing their best repertoire as part of a unique experience that blends sports and entertainment.

And yes—tickets are already available.

Golf, beach, music, and Gente de Zona all in one place…
