PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
Permitted and Prohibited Items at the Riviera Maya Open 2025
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, please adhere to the following guidelines regarding items allowed and prohibited on the tournament grounds:
Prohibited Items:
- Cameras and Video Equipment: Cameras and video recording devices are prohibited during official tournament rounds. During practice rounds, personal photography is allowed without camera cases.
- Electronic Devices: Radios, televisions, laser pointers, and computers/laptops are not permitted.
- Beverages and Coolers: Outside beverages, including coffee and soda, as well as coolers, are prohibited. However, one sealed bottle of water per person is allowed.
- Bags: Backpacks (except small drawstring bags typically carried by children) and oversized bags are not allowed. Diaper bags are permitted when accompanied by an infant or young child.
- Chairs: Lounge chairs or oversized chairs with extended footrests are not allowed. Small golf stools and collapsible spectator chairs are permitted without chair bags.
- Drones: Unmanned aircraft systems, including drones, are strictly prohibited.
- Other Items: Signs, flags, banners, fireworks, sparklers, and any items deemed unlawful, dangerous, inappropriate, or disruptive by tournament security personnel are not allowed.
Permitted Items:
- Mobile Devices: Cellular phones, tablets, and PDAs are allowed but must be on silent mode and used away from play to avoid disturbances.
- Small Bags and Purses: Opaque bags no larger than 6” x 6” are permitted. Clear plastic, vinyl, or other carry items not exceeding 12” x 6” x 12” are also allowed.
- Food: At the tournament’s discretion, food may be brought in a clear plastic bag not exceeding the size of a one-gallon resealable bag.
- Umbrellas: Umbrellas without sleeves are permitted; please be considerate of other spectators when using them.
- Medically Necessary Items: Supplies such as strollers, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles, and other necessary baby items are allowed when accompanying an infant. All items are subject to search.
- Collapsible Chairs: Collapsible chairs without chair bags are permitted.
- Binoculars and Seat Cushions: Binoculars without cases and seat cushions that do not require a carrying case or have pockets/compartments are allowed.
- Mobility Devices: Segways®, motorized scooters, or other personal transportation devices used as mobility aids by individuals with mobility impairments are permitted.
Please note: All items are subject to search upon entry. Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in confiscation of prohibited items or denial of entry without refund.
