The Pro-Am, which was played with the A go-go format, counted with the participation of Mexican players María Balcázar, Isabella Fierro, Lorena Ochoa, Gaby López and María Fassi.

It was a competition with a large participation, in which the amateurs took their best shots to be at the height of the companions of the LPGA tour.

Lorena Ochoa remembered her good times, and before teeing off to compete in her first nine holes with Fernanda Cummings, Adriana Sabatés, Ana Cecilia Navarro and Adriana Acosta, she made a phone call to her children. Later, the tapatia would boast that she made 8 or 9 birdies in her round.

The amateurs applauded the shots that the professionals made from the tee, and then took their turn, some with more nerves than others, who showed a little more experience.

In the end, the competitors left with the satisfaction of having shared the course with the stars who, starting on Thursday, will compete for the title of the event that marks the return of the LPGA to Mexico after eight years.
