Fierro Wraps Up Another Week on the Epson Tour
Longwood, Florida – March 17, 2025 – Mexican golfer Isabella Fierro posted rounds of 70 and 75 for a total of 145 strokes (+3), missing the cut at the IOA Golf Classic presented by Aperture, the third stop of the 2025 Epson Tour, held in Longwood, Florida. The tournament was won by American Gina Kim, who edged South Korea’s Minji Kang by a single stroke.
The Yucatán native faced strong winds during the first rounds. She had a solid performance in round one, improving as she went to finish at 70 (-1) with two birdies and an eagle. In the second round, she started strong again and reached -3 through hole 5, with two more birdies, but couldn’t maintain her momentum and finished with a 75 (+4).
This was the third appearance of the 24-year-old Mexican this season. She previously finished sixth at the Central Florida Championship at Winter Haven Country Club and 69th at the Atlantic Beach Classic in Atlantic Beach, Florida.
Gina Kim, also 24 and the 2022 Epson Tour Rookie of the Year, closed with a final-round 68 (-3) that included five birdies, finishing at 203 (-11) to claim her second win on the tour. Minji Kang from South Korea, who shot the best third-round score of 67, finished at -10, earning her second top-10 of the year.
Fellow Mexican María Fassi finished 58th overall with a total score of 217 (+4) after rounds of 70, 71, and 76. On Sunday, she carded two birdies, four bogeys, and a double bogey. This marked the second consecutive cut made by Fassi.
Former tournament leader Jeongeun Lee5 of South Korea had a rough final round, shooting +6, which caused her to fall 20 spots to finish tied for 21st at 211 (-2) along with 12 other players.
The fourth event of the Epson Tour season will be the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, scheduled for April 25–27 in Beaumont, California.
