March 2, 2025 – Mexican golfer Gabriela López finished in fourth place at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore, part of the LPGA Tour. The tournament was won by Australian Lydia Ko at the Tanjong Course of the Sentosa Golf Club.
After four days of competition, Gaby ended with a total score of 281, seven under par, tying for fourth place with Korea’s Jin Hee Im and England’s Charley Hull. She earned a prize of $104,308.
Her round scores were 70, 73, and 68 in the first three rounds, and she closed with a 70 to secure a Top 10 finish.
This was Gaby’s third tournament of the current season. She previously tied for 33rd at the Honda LPGA Thailand last weekend and placed 62nd at the Founders Cup presented by U.S. Virgin Islands in Florida, her first event of the year.
Lydia Ko, who won the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, shot a final-round 69 to finish at 275 total, 13 under par, and claimed her first Women’s World Championship title in 11 appearances. It marked her 23rd career victory on the LPGA Tour.
The Singapore tournament is the second of three events on the LPGA’s first Asian swing of the year. The final event will be played next week on Hainan Island, China.
